Short answer: GREY is about 300 metres (a 4-minute walk) north of the Ledra Street crossing, inside the walls of North Nicosia. We repair phones, tablets and computers of all major brands, sell accessories and the latest gadgets, and you can pay in euro, cash or card.
Open Monday–Saturday 09:00–17:00, closed Sunday. Vakıflar İş Hanı No:1, Walled City, opposite the Evkaf (Vakıflar) office.
Crossing back south: the EUR 260 rule
Under the EU Green Line Regulation, goods for personal use that you carry from the north to the south are exempt only up to a total value of EUR 260 per person (plus 40 cigarettes and 1 litre of spirits for travellers aged 17+), with no commercial character. Receipts may be checked; goods above the limit can be seized or fined. A phone worth more than EUR 260 is over the limit on its own, so check the rules with Cyprus Customs before crossing with one.
Our honest advice: we do not recommend buying anything over EUR 260 to take south, because you may run into problems at the crossing. We are here so you leave happy; the sale comes second.
